Why Sheetah exists

Sheetah is built in Bulgaria, for people who work for themselves here.

It started from a simple annoyance: the tax itself is genuinely low and genuinely manageable, but staying on top of it means remembering something almost every month. Most people solve that by paying an accountant to remember for them, which works but costs more than the tax does.

The numbers and the dates are the whole job. Software is good at both.

Every figure Sheetah uses comes from the law itself, dated to the day it took effect. When a rate changes partway through a year, we work out each part of the year on the rate that applied to it. We would rather tell you we do not know a figure than quietly use last year's.
