What this covers

Sheetah's website, the free tax calculator on it, and the early-access list. When the app you log into has its own notice, this page will link to it rather than try to cover both.

Who is responsible

Sheetah is the data controller. For anything on this page, including asking to see or delete your data, write to hello@sheetah.ai.

The calculator needs nothing from you

You can use the tax calculator without an account, without an email address, and without giving us anything at all. The figures are worked out in your browser. What you type is not sent to us and is not stored anywhere.

The only exception is if you ask us to email the results.

If you ask for early access, or ask us to email your figures

What we keep: your email address, which language you were reading in, and which form you used.

Why: to send you one email when Sheetah opens, and — if you asked for it — one email containing your calculated figures.

On what basis: your consent. You give it by clicking the confirmation link in the first email we send. Until you click it, you are not on the list.

For how long: if you never confirm, your address is deleted automatically after 14 days. If you confirm, we keep it until you ask us to remove it.

About the figures. If you ask us to email your results, your income figure reaches our server so we can work the numbers out and put them in the email. It is used for that and is not stored. We keep the address; we do not keep what you earn.

If you just visit the site

We collect standard analytics — pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device and browser, and which language version you used — to see which pages work and whether the English and Bulgarian versions behave differently. Our basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site does its job. You can block it and the site will work normally.

Who else sees your data

We use other companies to run parts of Sheetah. Each receives only what it needs, uses it only to provide its service to us, and cannot use it for its own purposes.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Cloudflare's bot check deserves a word: it inspects your browser to decide whether you are a person. It does not read the page and does not follow you across sites. If you block it, our forms will tell you the check could not run rather than fail silently.

What we do not do

• We never ask for your credentials to the tax office's systems, and we never act on your behalf there. Filings are prepared for you to submit yourself.
• We do not email you anything you did not ask for. Confirming your address puts you on a list for one message when we open — not a newsletter.
• We do not use your data to train anything.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, stop using it, hand it over in a portable form, or withdraw your consent — at any time, without giving a reason.

Every email we send carries a link that removes you from the list in one click. Or write to hello@sheetah.ai and we will act within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни), cpdp.bg .

Cookies

The website sets no cookies of its own. Our analytics provider and Cloudflare's bot check may store data in your browser for their own functioning.

Changes

If we change how any of this works we will update this page. If the change is significant and you are on our list, we will tell you.
